Molecular Throughput is a contract research organization that specializes in custom recombinant protein production for pharmaceutical and biotechnology research companies. We provide services ranging from cloning and gene construction, construct assembly, mutagenesis, expression screening, scale-up and protein purification using E. coli and baculovirus systems according to customer specifications.

In addition to traditional protein production work, we have developed parallel processes that greatly expand the expression space of recombinant proteins. This is especially useful in cases where a protein or enzyme is in need of optimization. Our parallel processes have been successfully used to optimize proteins for crystallization in structure based drug design and biopharmaceutical discovery work.
